Most Windows applications which connect to the Internet and most online services hide the enter passwords using asterisks. In this way, nobody will be able to see the password as it is written. Still, this method of hiding passwords has also some downsides. For example, a user may want to see the saved password, in case he forgets it, but, because of the asterisks, he won't be able to. But when installing the ShowPassword application, viewing the original password will become possible.

That's because ShowPassword can display hidden passwords in virtually any application. Installing ShowPassword is not required, as the program can run directly from the downloaded archive, by clicking on its executable. After loading the application, the user will only need to enable its functionality and then place the mouse over the field that contains the hidden password, inside the desired application. At this point, the password will be quickly displayed in the program's interface and the user will be able to retrieve it, by copying the password into the Windows clipboard.

ShowPassword supports virtually any Windows application and any online service that hides passwords using asterisks.

Pros

It can reveal the password from any application or online service. Besides that, the interface and program functionality are intuitive and easy to use. Furthermore, the password can be retrieved instantly and displayed in the program's interface, allowing the user to copy it into the Windows clipboard.

Cons

There are still some applications, like Windows 7 VPN connections, which are not supported by this application. Using ShowPassword, you will be able to quickly recover the stored password from any application or online service that uses asterisks to hide passwords.
